Kiteboarding Accomodations - First Coast Kiteboarding

ACCOMODATIONS

There are several reasonably priced hotels and B&Bs in the St. Augustine area to choose from, and we will choose the best option based on availability and the size of the group for the week.

Hotels

For most camps, we will use the La Fiesta Inn in St. Augustine Beach. La Fiesta is located on the beach in St. Augustine Beach, and has comfortable rooms with a swimming pool. There is a miniature golf course next door and several good restaurants within walking distance. The best part is that you can pump up your kite and head downwind from directly in front of the hotel and we will pick you up several miles down the beach.

The Treehouse

The first is a unique house rental on the south side of Matanzas Inlet called "The Treehouse". The downstairs and upstairs each sleep 6 and is right on the beach at Matanzas Inlet. This housing option costs a little more, but is well worth the view and the location.
Cottages For Coasting

The Treehouse is a stylish wooden cottage right on the beach at one of north Florida's unspoiled gems. Matanzas Inlet is one of the only waterways in the country where the intracoastal meets the ocean with no jetties to control erosion. What that means is that the sand is constantly changing with the tides, creating a natural rivermouth setup perfect for surfing and kiteboarding. The sand has filled in over the past year with all of the storms, and you can basically walk across the inlet now at low tide. This makes it perfect for learning to kiteboard, since you can stand up if you fall. If you are unsure of your skills and would like an extra measure of safety, we will provide personal watercraft support upon request. You won't believe how easy it is to relax and enjoy yourself when you can watch the waves roll in from your front porch.

Seaside At Anastasia

Another great option is to rent a fully-furnished 3 bedroom 2 bathroom condo in St. Augustine Beach at Seaside At Anastasia. A new condo development with a nice pool, Seaside At Anastasia is located across the street from the St. Augustine Beach pier and walking distance from several local restaurants and watering holes.
